⌁ who I am ⌁

Design for people,
shaped by curiosity.

I’m Laura, Interaction & UX/UI Designer. I’m interested in understanding how people relate to products, services, and technologies and transforming what I discover into clearer, more useful, and meaningful experiences. My work stems from the encounter between curiosity, design, and technology, with the aim of finding solutions that make sense for those who use them and those who build them.

⌁ MY BACKGROUND

Between different disciplines, I found design.

My background combines communication, sociology, technology and design. Different disciplines that have taught me to observe people, read contexts, and understand how tools and systems influence experiences.

From this combination comes my way of designing: transversal, curious and attentive to connections. Today I work between UX/UI, Interaction, and Service Design, exploring the relationship between people and technology and the possibilities that AI opens up to design.

I am curious, sunny and ambitious. I enjoy engaging, learning, and continuing to look for clearer and more meaningful ways to design.

⌁ WHY I DESIGN

Design for people
who believe good design
starts with understanding.

The part of design that interests me most comes before the solution. It’s observing, asking questions, questioning what seems obvious, and trying to understand what’s really needed.

I like it when a complex problem starts to become readable. When research changes the direction of a project, when a choice makes an interaction clearer, or when taking something away works better than adding it.

That’s why I got into UX/UI, Interaction, and Service Design. These are disciplines that allow me to work between people, systems, and technology, trying to keep different needs together without losing sight of why we are designing.

⌁ my approach

A process built
on context

Un metodo che trasforma ricerca, confronto e progettazione in scelte concrete.

1

EXPLORE

Start with curiosity.

I start with the problem, not the solution. I analyze context, needs, and behaviors to distinguish what is required from what is actually needed to design.

2

DEFINE

Find what matters.

I summarize what emerges from the research. I relate needs, priorities and constraints to define a clear and concrete direction for the project.

3

DESIGN

Turn thinking into design.

I translate insights and goals into structures, flows, interfaces, and interactions, seeking a balance between clarity, coherence, and feasibility.

4

ITERATE

Challenge the solution.

I validate the solutions through testing, feedback, and comparison, identifying what works and what needs to be rethought to evolve the project.
